J’OCEANE is the second largest player in the Rungis seafood section and remains an independent company.

In addition to its strategic location in the heart of the world’s largest fresh produce market, J’OCEANE has built up a solid network of suppliers from around the world. The close relationships it has built with its suppliers has enabled the company to supply fresh, high-quality produce to its customers in the best conditions possible.
J’OCEANE supplies to a clientele composed of traditional restaurants, fishmongers, wholesalers and semi-wholesalers. In 2004, J’OCEANE pioneered the creation of a department specialising in the Japanese restaurant sector.

Situated in the heart of the Marché d’Intérêt National (M.I.N) de RUNGIS, J’OCEANE disposes of over de 1,200 square meter of premises within the traditional Pavillon de la Marée, situated in the iconic A4 building.
In 2011, after purchasing ROYAUME DES MERS and in order to respond to the growth its business, J’OCEANE moved into 2,500 square meter of new premises in the imposing A6 building.
Significant investments in 2018 and 2022 also enabled the company to expand its production premises to cover 5000 square meter of space. These new premises enable us to prepare our customers’ orders in perfect conditions, day and night.
Our new state-of-the-art premises are in keeping with the MARCHÉ INTERNATIONAL DE RUNGIS ambitions for modernisation. They are ideally located just outside of Paris and in close proximity to major aviation networks. This excellent geographical location helps us to provide our customers with a bespoke service.
